No. I am not saying you nor I need to master everything.
That’s just nuts!
But we do need to master the Art of Moving on.
Are you stuck in an area of your life that you have convinced yourself that in order to make further progress, you must have closure?
Is it mentally, relationally, physically and or emotionally?
Our team is here to help you to identify the area in which you are stuck. But my guess is you already know you’re stuck because the mud is up to your neck!
So what are you waiting for?
Too many of us require an explanation and a reason in order to make progress. So we plateau in our development.
You don’t have to.
Consider the story of Job.
Yes it is a tough story. I hate the story. But I do love the ending:)
We pick up in Job chapter 38
Job is so taxed from all the losses and the emotional toll resulting from losing his children, his earning potential, his cattle, and his health.
Can you imagine the medical bills?
Back to Back drama.
So he starts to complain to God. He is so done.
And wouldn’t you be?
For sure, I would be.
Just done.
But did God give him an explanation for all the hell that he went through?
Go check for yourself. You will not find one.
Yet Job moved on. He persevered in his Faith. And God blessed him even more.
God blessed him with double for all his trouble.
Here is the proof:
“After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. 11 All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him, and each one gave him a piece of silver[a] and a gold ring.
12 The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. 13 And he also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch. 15 Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.
16 After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. 17 And so Job died, an old man and full of years.”
